"Network" is the theme

最近發現一個好用的網站，跟美國的craigslist很像喔。

美國的craigslist是以區域性來支分網站，例如NYC, San Francisco bay area等地區 (以都會區/州為主)。網站中有所有想的到的分類，重點是，都是在地的喔。要找房子、找工作、找男友、找室友......你想的到的都有，而且就在你的生活區。這是craigslist在舊金山灣區的網站: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/

台灣也有類似的網站喔，雖然在台灣，大家似乎上網都離不開雅虎台灣(前幾天讀到的新聞，台灣有超過87%網路使用者無法跳脫Yahoo的network，而台灣雅虎的營業額只少於美國雅虎跟英國雅虎；重點是....台灣只是小市場就有這麼大的產值....Geeeeeeeeeee..)。

好，不說廢話。這個類似craigslist的網站叫做Kijiji，我稱他為"去寂寂"。網址如後: http://taipei.kijiji.com.tw/ 這是大台北地區的網址，你也可以點選台中或高雄等等其他地區。而且是免費喔。

看起來...."Localization" 是有利可圖的 呵呵。by the way, 我打算要在這個網站幫我自己找男友，但是，人家會害羞哪......@@

Ann is coming soon in 12/26

其實大約從兩三個月前，我跟Ann就開始計畫聖誕假期要如何度過。先來一張我們Ann小姐的pic(有興趣男士請與我連絡)。

Ann是在美國求學時，我最close的朋友，直到現在。其實我們是同班同學，但是學期中才開始熟。而且熟的原因還是因為他當時暗戀班上的韓國帥哥，而我也在計畫怎麼約我喜歡的帥哥出去dating...I'm pretty aggressive when I was Young....就是這樣，彼此當彼此的軍師。然後一直到實習後，他在SJ的西門子上班，而我在南灣區的Pleasontan上班。但是在週末either我跑到南邊，或他過來Berkeley找我喝酒過週末。

自從我們結束實習及學業後，他回泰國而我也回到台灣，life continues....但是好玩的事情是，我們兩個自從回到各自國家後，完全沒機會交男友。有時候週末，我們就在MSN上開始抱怨，例如是what's wrong with those guys in Taiwan/Thailand?????

當前幾個月我們開始計畫聖誕假期時，因為我之前常去泰國找他，他也不想要呆在泰國。我們的旅遊名單從NYC新年倒數，或日本shopping以及HK...他突然跟我說想來台灣看看我的地方跟家人 (我知道他對台灣男生有某種程度的幻想，這也是原因之一.....王力宏跟周杰倫在泰國是很火的)。

得知他要來的消息後，超高興的。開始規劃接下來要帶Ann去完的行程。期待 :-)

前幾天我們家的小喵妹去獸醫先生那邊洗澡澡，晚上跟老爸開車去接小公主回家的時候，因為獸醫院附近沒地方停車，老爸叫我去帶貓，他在車上等。

Lovely Tugba deyooooooo

Last weekend I got several pix from Tugba, one of my best friends in Turkey too. We knew each other since my day 1 in Berkeley and we are very close to each other as well.

It never entered my mind

You know, music is my life and everything.

There is one tune i have loved for almost 10 years, it's from Miles Davis called "It never entered my mind". Originally I found this tune from a movie "Run away bride" when I was 17 years old (Also my name came from that movie too).

For those who may be interested in this tune, you can find it in Miles Davies' "Workin'' Album, the first track. This tune for me is just too great and I don't even know how to describe it. I told my sister that I will have this tune in my wedding one day, and of course with a real live band :-)

If I can get married.....I always expect lots things haha

sweet with difficulty?

Today again I wasn't so busy at work and got time to chat with my Korean friend Cynthia, who is in Turkey with her boyfriend since last December. Speaking of her boyfriend, is one of my friends in Berkeley and they both meet each other in my house (as usual, party..) and they were in love at the first sight.

Cynthia's parents went to Turkey and visited her last month, of course these 2 families met with each other and they decided it's a good moment for this couple got engaged. So they accidentally did it and it's just simple, only they 2 with their own parents.

I'm so happy for them that they have a really great ending and got engaged. But as I heard from Cynthia, it's really difficult to live in Turkey even tho she works very hard to learn the language and people there are really mean.

Well, there is one more thing really terrible; I saw some Korean drama and know that the Korean family pretty much like to make some "comparison" with other families, such as the position in the society or the fortune that kinda shit. But sadly, in Turkey thing getting worse. I can imagine this dinner party was like a contest........

Even tho those things happened, the most important thing is they love each other. As usual, Enis and Cynthia still enjoy beer together every night after work.

Uhmm....I miss Turkish beer now.

i'm tired

These couple of weeks, actually not so busy at work and amazingly that maeks me feel anxious. i even got stomache even stairing at my NB sometimes.

Later today finally got Tony's mail and good to know that everything goes well since he moved to Rio. Except for the part of speaking Portuguese haha, but I'm very sure he will get a new job soon.

Meanwhile, I really hope I can have the guts just leave everything in where i get used to and then jump into a totally new environment. It will be difficult and people may give me hard time sometimes, but the best part is, I'm young and not afraid to try.

Should I move on? Something I still cannot get rid of....I guess.

Today while Ilon sent out a "Party Invitation", well, it's basically a internal getting together and having fun this Friday afternoon. This reminds me my life in the US and it's all about party haha.

I rarely having real party since got back to Taiwan, maybe it's because of the work..that makes me don't wanna host any party.... or it's just the people?

The other day when I talked to Golf about my plan of getting my MBA, while he is aware of my preferring school and he said: Maggie, good for you, UF is the best party school -_-'

I guess it's not only for UF, but all the schools in Florida.

my new goal is crystal clear

Lately I've been thinking about my new goal for the next couple years, and what am I going to be before 30 years old (a.k.a. only 4 years left >_<)

Since I have always dream abt to have my own biz in the coming future...cuz I don't wanna work for someone else forever and just get the "salary" to secure my life, I'm thinking serious about to get my MBA. The best school for me will be University of Florida where I always wanna get into that great biz school and working with professionals from real world.

Well, there are lots works ahead of me, let's just say the requirement of GMAT has to be over 670....

One of my best friend Tony from France is going to Brazil and check out the opportunities to practice some great ideas there! Good luck to him and wish we could start our biz asap!

唉 吵死了

搞不懂 幹麻倒扁
那些倒扁的人難道搞不懂一句話叫做 "rules are rules"?

記得再 "誰是接班人" 第三季中，有個規定叫做 "豁免權"，也就是上週勝利隊伍的PM在下週即使輸了比賽也不會被開除。

在其中一個Episode,有一個男的上週是勝利的PM，下一次比賽卻擺爛不做事情。他的隊友建議Donald Trump破例開除他。當時Trump說，如果定出來的規矩可以破例，幹麻定? 那及他還開除了對他提出這個stupid建議的人。

但是牛牽到北京還是牛，擺爛的那個男的一沒有獲免權，馬上被開除。

在台灣我最欣賞的政治人物就是呂秀蓮(跟我熟你應該知道這個)，我應該是最希望阿扁下台的。但是這種沒意義的行動做了只是浪費時間跟內耗。還不如讓大陸統一一下好了免得每次出差一直要辦簽證，很累的。
